TP-Institute's programs integrate the theory and processes of Western depth psychology with Eastern holistic philosophy & practice. It could be said that, because East & West are relatively Yin & Yang to one another, throughout each course journey their contributions to developmental psychology, archetypal behaviour, and philosophy & spirituality are integrated to support each students' holistic, experiential, and practical learning. Â
The 1-year Transpersonal Psychology Coaching credential offers students a robust, experiential transpersonal accredited program to work with clients as part of a structured, transcendent process toward their fullest potential. It is developmental & transformation-oriented, focusing on clarifying direction or passions, improving skills, and enhancing future alignment and growth. It is typically present & future-focused, emphasizing action, accountability, authenticity and transformation.Â
The 2-year Transpersonal Psychology Counselling credential provides accreditation to work with clients in a more grassroots capacity, including conditioned early-life programming, lineage/ancestry, and parental influences, toward fuller individuation, integration, and healing. More therapeutic & remedial, it focuses on understanding and resolving emotional distress, psychological difficulties, or past experiences that are affecting a personâs well-being and functioning. It explores underlying causes, including historical or personal context, and addresses the integration of body & mind. Â
* IMPORTANT:Â The Transpersonal Coaching program forms the first year of study as part of the 2-year Transpersonal Counselling program.

Differences ~ TP Coaching & TP CounsellingÂ
- TP Coaching is developmental, and oriented towards a transcendent journey. It focuses on clarifying passions, improving skills, and enhancing future actualisation outcomes. It is typically present & future-focused, assuming the client is psychologically stable, emphasizing action, accountability, and change through awareness & clarity.

TP Counselling is therapeutic and remedial. It focuses on understanding and resolving emotional distress, psychological difficulties, or past experiences that are affecting a personâs well-being and functioning. It often explores underlying causes, including historical or personal context, and may address emotional states and programmed patterns. Put simply, it could be said that Counselling is Yin helping clients to understand and heal; while coaching is Yang, helping clients grow & transform.Â
