Summary

The 2-Year Transpersonal (TP) Counselling Program combines ongoing aspiration for personal growth, inspired by a calling for a deepening career as a TP Counsellor. This 22-month curriculum is designed to accommodate a student's busy work-life-study schedule, while being financially available to pay gradually over the course of study.  The program is enriched through experiential exposure to Eastern and Western healing modalities, harnessing adjoining philosophy and depth psychotherapy methodology. 

The syllabus is organised combining live and in-the-room experience, interactive inquiry/ sharing and assimilating content and theory as part of the Transpersonal philosophical models and therapeutic modalities of Western Transpersonal Depth Psychology. Student outcomes include: on-going psychotherapeutic and personal development, experiential resilience cultivated through live interactive learning, and a structured methodology for working one-to-one with clients within a Transpersonal Counselling framework.

Participants will graduate with an accredited professional qualification as a Transpersonal Psychotherapy Counsellor.

   

Highlights

  • Accreditation — Graduates receive a Transpersonal Psychology Coaching qualification, licensed & registered with the International Association of Coaches, Therapists and Mentors (IACTM), Zurich.
  • 1 Year of Tuition — 24 Live weekends (384 hrs) +  80 online Thursday sessions (240 hrs)= 624 hrs Tuition
  • Transpersonal (TP) Therapy Requirement — Weekly or bi-weekly 1-to-1 Transpersonal Psychotherapy sessions with an approved Transpersonal Psychotherapist or Counsellor (approx. 40 sessions per academic year).

Content Overview

Students will experience content and personal practice within a transpersonal psychology (TP) process. The content will relate to the eastern theories and disciplines of Yogic/ Tantric Chakras and their elements and of Taoism & Traditional Chinese Meridian (TCM). In contrast will be Western depth & analytic psychology: significantly the theories of Carl Jung and other thinkers such as Maslow, Sutich & Carl Rogers. 

Students should expect to practice much of what they learn : personally with a 5 layered integral practice, as well as disciplines such as Chakra meditation, breath-work/ pranayama & some Yin Yoga relating to cultivation of Chi/ Charge flow within the body. 

Students also receive therapeutic techniques & practices: learning transpersonal archetypal visualisation methods, tapping (EFT), Parts & Sub-personalities processes, cognitive reprogramming (CBT) and somatic disciplines and integrated healing techniques (IHT) for their clients transcendent process & unfolding.

Weekly online sessions focus on coaching methodology, ethics & protocol, transpersonal approaches & content, and interactive Q&A.

In most cases, live weekends will occur during the first weekend of the month for the first year and
the second weekend of the month in the second (final) year. For two months (April & May) there will be two live weekends per month, due to no live weekend months  (June and August).

Cost and Payment Options

The cost of the 2-Year Transpersonal Psychotherapy Counsellors Program is £13,750.

Payment can be made in full at the beginning of the course, or more commonly, as an interest-free arrangement, structured as follows: 

-  £750 non-refundable/ transferable deposit to secure a place and application.
-  £1,500 initial non-refundable/ transferable payment is required one week before the start of the course.
-  Monthly payment options: £297 over 30 months, or £387 over 23 months.
£2,600 graduation fee due upon course completion (required to receive full certification).
 

Entry Requirements

Prospective students are required to have completed secondary or high school education to GCSE or O Level standard (or equivalent). Proof of education may be requested as part of the application process.

If there have been any interruptions, breaks, or special circumstances in your educational history, you will have the opportunity to outline these in the In-Depth Application Form for individual consideration.

Application Process

Step 1: Submit your primary online Application Form, along with a fully refundable £500 'Deposit of Intention', to secure your place on your selected course.
Step 2: This will initiate the next stage, where you will receive two questionnaires — the ‘Life’ and ‘Lineage’ forms — along with the In-Depth Application Form. All 3 documents should be completed and returned together.
Step 3: Once your forms have been received & reviewed, and upon initial approval, you will be invited to attend two 45-minute interviews — one with Jamie Clarke and another with Lois Pimentel (Program Directors). These interviews should be completed within a three-week window from the time of receipt of the 3 forms. Ctc information for your interviews will be given upon receipt of your forms. 
Step 4: Following the interviews, applicants will be notified of their acceptance and provided with full details of the payment terms & responsibilities and the financial agreement for their particular course. 
If, for any reason, an applicant is not accepted, the £500 Deposit of Intention, will be fully refunded immediately.
