2-Year Transpersonal Psychology Counselling Program

Request Course Summary

About the Program

The 2-Year Transpersonal (TP) Counselling Program combines ongoing personal growth and transpersonal (TP) psychology coaching skills, which mature and deepen knowledge and awareness, to become a Transpersonal Psychology Counsellor. As a TP psychology counsellor, students are now able to look reflectively with clients, at how they have been programmed to arrive at where they are, with tools to facilitate their transpersonal unfolding process. This 23-month curriculum is designed to accommodate a student's busy work-life-study schedule, with options available to pay gradually over the course of study.

The curriculum combines live, in-the-room experiential learning with interactive reflection, sharing, and theoretical integration. Building from the first year's TP coaching program, it further enriches experiential learning, adjoining Eastern maps of philosophy and discipline with Western depth-psychology's approaches and methods.

Student outcomes include deepened psycho-spiritual development, cultivation towards mastery of embodiment disciplines, and structured, wide, and deep methodologies for one-to-one client-counselling work. Students will earn a professional accreditation with an established, globally recognised, governing body, and gain a new life career as a Transpersonal Psychology Counsellor.

Content Overview

The first year will be significantly focused on Eastern & Western Philosophical & Transpersonal theoretical frameworks respectively. Students will also immediately practice with supervision, TP psychology coaching skills & protocols, working with clients live in the room and in placement (outside the classroom). The humanistic client-centric approaches of Carl Rogers will also create practical & ethical structures for a student's grounding and safety. Priority will also be given to the Personal Integrated Practices (PiP) disciplines, which will teach students to tune into themselves and take accountability for their individual experience.

The second year will deepen content, repeat material and develop mastery and personalisation in techniques and interventions. Students will also customise and refine their style, building client-counsellor effectiveness. The curriculum for the second-year counselling program will now repeat the Tantric Chakra structure, deepening to include Jungian archetypal theories and their energetic impact on healing and development. The Western depth psychology syllabus will also expand into themes of: inherited family and birth trauma, agency, family systems theory, early psychic development and its dysfunctions, and sub-personality formation and integration. Eastern & Western philosophical models will deepen into humanist-existential maps of meaning and resolution.

Students will also refine therapeutic techniques and practices, learning client application strategies for: TP visualisation methods, tapping (EFT), Parts & Sub-personalities (IFS) & Gestalt techniques, cognitive reprogramming (CBT), somatic Chi/charge balancing techniques & Integrated Healing Techniques (IHT), with priority for client safety & professional T&Cs.

Weekly online sessions focus on TP counselling methodology, ethics & protocol, transpersonal philosophy and TP psychology content. Individuation strategies and interactive Q&A will also be included.

Application Process

Step 1: Submit your primary online application form, along with a fully refundable ÂŁ750 "Deposit of Intention", to secure your place on your selected course.
Step 2: This will initiate the next stage, where you will receive two questionnaires—the "Life" and "Lineage" forms—along with the in-depth application form. All three documents should be completed and returned together.
Step 3: Once your forms have been received and reviewed, and upon initial approval, you will be invited to attend two 45-minute interviews—one with Jamie Clarke and another with Lois Pimentel (Program Directors). These interviews should be completed within a three-week window from the time of receipt of the three forms. Contact information for your interviews will be given upon receipt of your forms.
Step 4: Following the interviews, applicants will be notified of their acceptance and provided with full details of the payment terms and responsibilities and the financial agreement for their particular course.
If, for any reason, an applicant is not accepted, the ÂŁ750 Deposit of Intention will be fully refunded immediately.
